If a person has no income, and no way to borrow money how can they declare bankruptcy? I simply can't afford the trustee's fees. Is it necessary to go through a trustee?
You currently are in a situation we refer to as judgement proof, meaning that it sounds as if you don’t have any property that your creditors would be able to act upon (i.e. seize). As a result you have no need to file a bankruptcy currently and we suggest you wait until they are working (as then you would need to be concerned with court action and a potential wage garnishment) before filing.
