bankruptcy question

Posted on Tuesday, April 24, 2007

what if there were some fibs on your original credit card application.... would that come out in the bankruptcy process? What is considered fraud or what could get you charged or whatever due to the process? I want to do this, but I am afraid of what could possibly come out in the process that i could have forgotten?

If you have lied on your credit application and the creditor in question wishes to pursue this it could ultimately result in the debt surviving bankruptcy. To do this a fraud charge must be proved and then an application to bankrutpcy court would have to be made to request that the debt survive.
