what happens if a family member comes into money and wants to give all other members of his family a gift of money.

    Firstly you will be required to notify your trustee. It will tehn be up to your trustee to decided if it will be treated as income for the surplus calculation and averaged over the duration of your bankruptcy or as an after acquired asset.

    It is also important to note that not disclosing this is considered a bankruptcy offence and will prevent you from being eligible for discharge.
