I have heard that if I file for bankruptcy in Canada and later receive back pay from workers compensation that this money would not be touched by the trustee or creditors. Is this true?

Citifinancial loan

I recently qualified for a loan through Citifinancial. When I was signing all the papers for the loan they had me make up a list of possessions that would be worth about what the loan was for (i.e. $10,000). I did as they required, but honestly the furnishings I listed aren't any where near the full value of the loan if sold today as they're used and a in a garage sale wouldn't go for much. My question is if I declare bankruptcy in Alberta, what will happen? Will they take the items? What if my TV was listed but broke and now I have a new TV?

RRSP Exemption

If I filed a bankruptcy in Alberta, What type of RRSP's can I keep? If they are from my previous jobs pension plan would I be able to keep them? When I was laid off I was told that I had to put them into a locked-in account and they cannot be touched for another 5 years.

I have heard that CRA often opposes a discharge if they are owed any money in a bankruptcy. Is this true? I need to file bankruptcy, I have about $45k in debt, of which CRA is owed about 2k. Do I need to be concerned?

Hello, is it considered fraud if I receive money from my previous employer ($12,200.00) just before I file for bankruptcy in Canada and then use it to pay for a training course just before i file? Will i have to pay this money back? Will it cause me difficulties while I am in a bankruptcy?
