Can I buy the home after discharge from bankruptcy…I saw on home that is Condo and very small near to my rent…

If you declare bankruptcy do you still have to pay the debts off,or not. Are you free and clear.

If you file for bankreuptcy, do you lose your old age, cpp and past employment pension. Also, if you have a term life insurance policy, can you keep it.

Do you still get your old age and CPP pensions if you go bankrupt.

I am quite confused. The GST credit is not considered property of the bankruptcy estate, and it is listed as federally exempt property as essential to the living needs of individuals, yet our trustee tells us that we will not recieve it. Please explain this for me.

Can you declare bankruptcy from the gov\’t? Example, maintenance payments, income tax.

My daughter and son-in-law separated June of 2008, she left him and he is living in their marital home, title in both names.
He is now saying that he is going to claim bankruptcy and vacate the home.

He makes approximately $80,000/year, they own the home which is valued at about $130,000 and has a mortgage of approximately $120,000, perhaps a little less. The only other payment he has other than utilities is a vehicle payment. He owns a truck free & clear. They have two children 5 & 6. His child support is approximately $700 per month, house payment approximately $950 and vehicle payment is probably around $500. Can he claim bankruptcy and how can my daughter protect herself i.e. the house. The only debt she has other than her utility payments is rent.

I\’m wondering about working during bankruptcy…I currently work 20 hours a week, and make around 2400 a month doing this. Would I be able to file for bankruptcy just working half time? And would they take my wage into consideration? I make a lot, but can only get so many hours at my work….

if my biusiness goes bankrupt and We owe the Back GST and Employee premiuns to the federal govt. will it affect us personally/
